Proess was contracted by Bugoye Hydro Limited to carry out a grid study to present the current and planned status of the regional grid in order to understand what improvements had been planned that would increase the reliability of the grid for Bugoye Hydro Power Plant (HPP).

Deliverables:

• Proess Limited carried out a power system analysis and hydrology assessment for the project.
• The power system analysis was to establish the causes of instability of the grid especially with respect to the operation of the Bugoye HPP and Mubuku 3 HPP.
